Hollywood glamour crossed with 70’s French style lounge

Interior Design and Decorator Tips
A favourite thing that attracted me to this room is the textured trellis wallpaper, Neisha Crosland by Cole & Son – I just love it!

The owner of this luxurious Hollywood glamour crossed with 70’s French style lounge room is Tamara Mellon, of Jimmy Choo.  The decorator that created this space is Martyn Lawrence-Bullard.  This room is featured in the June/July 2010 issue of Belle Magazine, Australia.

The warmth of the timber parquetry flooring, with the animal print floor rug add a lovely base for the 2 doric columns that perfectly frame the room.  The chocolate velvet lounges are covered in gold and cream scatter cushions that create such a cosy and inviting welcome.

This beautiful space has some very glamorous accessories, namely a Curtis Jere bronze sculpture panel, featured above the fireplace this is the central focal point of the room.  The coffee table is c1970 by Willy Rizzo, very low profile.  Two cream alligator skin chairs are from Jean de Merry in Los Angeles and the bronze side tables from the Jacques Garcia Collection for Baker.
