We completed another job over the weekend for some lovely clients of ours. The brief was to use our clients existing art and create a casual, relaxed resort style space for their family area.
Our client also had a few pieces of inherited furniture (lounge pictured that we had re-upholstered) that we also used in the space. After some conversation I discovered my client had a surfboard hiding away in storage that he had used back in his surfing days, so I suggested we feature that in the room too as it had personal meaning.
White furniture kept the space feeling casual as did the addition of an indoor palm and plant for the coffee table and of course shutters for the sliding doors. The result, a casual space that feels like the beach is just a stone throws away.
