My Decorator was called out to do a Colour Consultation for a retired couple who had just finished building their dream home.  The couple needed some help with paint colour selection for the open plan living area.  The space had an eclectic mix of traditional and modern style furniture, along with an existing colour scheme of beige, mocha, blue and white. The whole space required a colour scheme that would marry the two styles harmoniously together.  We recommended a Duck Egg Blue colour to be painted on the walls of the dining section of the living space which matched beautifully with the mahogany traditional furniture and also complimented the contemporary kitchen and blended with the other aspects of the open plan living space.
