Which reminded me of a book about William Morris that my Great Aunt gave me years ago. It was an illustrated biography of William Morris’ life and how he was tired of the industrial revolution with its mass production and went back to producing beautiful hand made textiles, fabrics, rugs and how this started the whole of the Arts and Crafts movement.
There is something special about the return to the simple process that a handmade piece of Art or Craft requires along with the uniqueness and originality that it automatically possesses.
Can I encourage you to make or buy some art or craft. It’s such a great feeling of accomplishment to know that you created something yourself or to have an original handmade item adorning your space
