Welcoming Transformation in the Hills District – Kellyville

Interior Design and Decorating Project | Kellyville, Hills District Sydney

My Decorator was thrilled to be invited to design and refresh this lovely family’s home in Kellyville, in the Hills district of Sydney. This residential interior design project focused on creating warm, functional home tailored to the family’s lifestyle.

1. Merging Style and Function

During our initial consultation, we chatted through Interior Style and Colour Scheme, determined what furniture was to stay and be replaced, we also discussed the home’s layout and how to best flow from one area to the next, allowing the relaxed contemporary style to shine. Our brief was to recommend new furniture, art, rugs, and decor for the entry, lounge, bedroom, living room, dining, family room, and kitchen of the home.

2. Designing with Purpose

Armed with our brief we set to work to create a design plan and then presented this to our client.  On approval we commenced implementation with a shopping trip where large furniture items were ordered.  We incorporated a soothing palette of neutrals and blues, and ensured that every room reflected both tranquility and vibrancy. Sofas were chosen for their comfort, accent pieces for their charm, and artwork to infuse personality into each area. Styling day ensured that the final look was achieved with the addition of decor pieces, scatter cushions and more.  The outcome? An inviting home where every family member can feel at ease and joyful in their surroundings.
