On the weekend my lovely friend married her soul mate. It was a beautiful wedding. I had the privilege of helping her with the design of the decorations for the chapel and the reception venues.
We had a lot of fun in the weeks leading up to the wedding purchasing all the materials needed to create the exact look that she was after. I loved every minute of it.
The Bride chose a rustic romantic theme and favored roses in antique white and soft pinks for her flower arrangements.  She also liked symmetry and chose two lovely iron antique candelabras to be featured either side of her and the Groom when they were taking their vows, these were placed inline with the pews of the chapel.
At the reception you will see that White Horse Shoes served as name settings for the tables and candles sitting in glass holders with rustic foliage surround were the table settings.  It was quite a challenge to find the Horse Shoes, but we managed it with the help of local horse stables.  The Horse Shoes symbolised the Bride and Grooms country heritage.
Another personalised feature that the Bride requested was that we made a Message Tree, where guests were invited to write their prayers or special messages to the Bride and Groom on the provided tags and place them on the tree.  I’m afraid my picture above isn’t very clear but we used pearls, lace, and twine along with lovely antique card paper to create the tags and decorate the tree – this idea was a definite success as many people had beautiful things to write for the Bride and Groom.
