My Decorator had the pleasure of assisting our client with a residential interior design and decorating project in Baulkham Hills, in the Hills District of Sydney. This renovation focused on refining key living spaces including the kitchen, dining, lounge and sitting areas to create a sophisticated, cohesive and highly functional home.
1. Interior Design Brief and Concept
Our adventure began anew with a loyal client eager to refine their kitchen’s vision. Beginning with a consultation, we embarked on a journey, refining and reshaping elements to perfectly align with an elevated, contemporary direction. Our exploration didn’t stop at the kitchen; it embraced both the lounge and a more relaxed back sitting area, each area telling its own story through a sophisticated palette of greys, blacks, whites, plums, and roses, complemented by the luxurious textures of marble, stone, plush velvets, satins, and soft voiles.
2. Designing Process and Implementation
Our recommendation process was meticulous, evolving from a detailed design plan into a tactile shopping experience. We guided our client through each selection, from the magnificent pendant light that now adorns the kitchen to the custom-built dining suite and the thoughtful placement of large mirrors, enhancing the space’s openness. The transformation was marked by pivotal moments – the installation of striking flooring, elegant curtains, and custom furniture, all harmoniously integrated to breathe life into the envisioned elegance.
