Today I'm grateful that I got to make myself a nice hot freshly brewed cup of strong coffee. What are you grateful for? Image: Unknown (if you know the source please let us know).
Do you sit on the camp for symmetry or asymmetry? We definitely prefer the visual variation and interest that asymmetry brings. But this wasn't always the case. When I was a lot younger way before I started in design I liked the balance of symmetry but over time found it to be predictable and well a bit of a yawn. Don't get me wrong, symmetry definitely has it's place and I do use it in my designs but now days I like the intrigue that asymmetrical design brings. Like these windows panes, the lamps, the cushions once you start looking at this image you see more and more asymmetrical placements which makes it all look beautifully balanced without it being perfectly symettrical. It's an art form. Truly. Tell us are you a symmetry or asymmetrical fan? Image: @jesskettle
Our client already had her blue rug and teal lounge but wanted our help using these existing pieces to transform this room into a peaceful haven for her to come home to and enjoy. We just love the finished outcome! Do you?
It isn’t uncommon for me to hear: “Hey Prue, what got you started in Interior Design?” Most simply, the answer is this: I am passionate about helping people experience a home that they love being in and never want to leave! Want to know more? Check out the “About Us” tab on our website! Want to know more about me? Pop your question below or DM me. Let's chat! Image: Unknown (if you know the source please let us know).
I will never forget mine and my families visit to Buckingham Palace. We had the opportunity to actually go into the palace and I spent hours taking everything in. The opulence, the grand scale of everything, the rich colour palettes used, the superb soft furnishings and decadent decorator pieces, the intricate weaves of the floor rugs my eyes were in design heaven. You see I'd studied the History of Architecture when I studied Interior Design but actually being in the rooms that held such history was another thing. I wonder if one day the furniture we are using today will be admired in a similar way? Design: @thea_home Image: @tessaneustadt

Well, who wouldn't love a closet like this? Storage and space for days. Key ingredients are good lighting so you can put a winning outfit together. Plenty of space. Well planned out storage customised to you're items. A neutral palette so your robe doesn't clash with you and your outfit as you dress. A full length mirror. Somewhere nice and plush and comfy to sit. You get the picture. What are the main things you would wan't in you're walk in robe? Image: @abmbuilt
This glass railing gives the impression of a floating staircase (also because of the white risers and timber treds), what a striking design. Oh... and don’t get us started on that show stopping art 👌 Image: @aiaphotovideo
We love the outcome of this kitchen. Our client contacted us to help with designing a new kitchen. After a lot of time spent gleaning a brief from our client we ended up changing the orientation of the island to what you see now and it really opened things up. We also designed the kitchen cupboard/drawers layout to function with her cooking tasks. Kitchens are something we use everyday so it makes sense to take the time to get not only the look right but also it’s function. Are you renovating your kitchen? How are you designing it?
